The ‘Annual’ Happiest Music Festival, NH7 weekender, kicks off its 2017 Shillong edition on 27 October 2017. This year has a new and charming venue at “Wenfield, The Festive Hills” – Thadlaskein, Lad Mukhla, Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. The Shillong chunk will showcase artists and musicians who perform across a variety of genres, including the biggest guitarist in the world, globally Steve Vai and Dutch Metal band Textures, with many Indian favourites such as Amit Trivedi, Indian Ocean, Karsh Kale Collective, Dualist Inquiry, the Rudy Wallang Guitar Jamboree, Divine and Khasi Bloodz to name just a few.
Amazing jaw-dropping stage designs, art installations and inspiring art, alongside a number of a variety local cuisines will keep you going through the festival when you are not grooving to your favourite music. The festival’s bazaar will specially host an exclusive space for artists, craftspeople, DIYers and hobbyist entrepreneurs from across India to showcase their creative products. From hand-woven baskets and beaten metalware, to funky tees, fashion accessories, jewelry, bags, art, home décor – you will be able to experience a two-day long extravagant journey soaked in music, culture and lots of food!

Young music fans born after October 29, 1996 can purchase their Under 21 ticket at INR 1250, which is valid for both the days of the festival. Regular season tickets (valid for both days) are priced at INR 2250. All ticket holders will be given a wristband on location that provides access to view all stages. Gates to the festival open at 2:00 PM on both days. You can also log on to Insider.in to find special deals on F&B coupons with ticket purchases in Shillong. For Persons with Disabilities and Persons with Mobility Impairment, the festival offers a PA ticket for any one designated person accompanying (PA) the guest to the festival and also has a designated drop off zone at the entrance of the festival, without the need not queue up at the box office to receive their tickets or wristband. PA access can be requested by the festival-goer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Shuttle services will also be available to reach the festival venue from prominent boarding points in Shillong.
